Tom Brown Park features a dog park that has fenced in sections for small dogs to play, as well as pooches that are on the larger side.
The Tom Brown Park is situated on the side of the city toward the east, off of Capital Circle. Not only is there a large recreation place, but there is also a lake (Lake Leon) present. The recreational part of the park features a few baseball fields for those who want to get out and play a game or two. And lovers of tennis can choose from the tennis courts present. What really helps this park to stand apart from others is one feature that is quite enjoyable for the citizens of Tallahassee – a BMX track!
Of course, those who enjoy getting outside to engage in exercise, such as jogging, hiking, or riding a bicycle, are able to make use of Tom Brown Park’s nature trails. One such trail is known as Magnolia Trail, a 3.1-mile trail meant to be used by those on a mountain bike. In other words, when you are visiting Tom Brown Park, you can be sure that there will be no shortage of activities you can enjoy. Make sure to bring a picnic basket with you!
